Bryansburn FC finally get their pre-season up and running Thursday 4th July at Ballywooley with their opening session (7pm) under the guidance of new Club Manager Paul Moore who was appointed at the end of May.

Paul brings with him a wealth of coaching and managerial experience from his time at Linfield, Crusaders, Lisburn Distillery and Ards as well as local Clubs Killyleagh YC and Abbey Villa. A UEFA qualified Coach, Paul also spent time working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Ballyclare Rugby Club.

In particular he is looking forward to coaching and developing all the young players at Bryansburn and putting a squad together that is capable of challenging for NAFL Division 1C this season. To that aim numerous new signings have already been made to compliment the quality of last season’s squad that finished in third place.

After that session there will be further sessions at Ballywooley on Saturday (2pm) and Monday 8th and Wednesday 10th both 7pm start.
Anyone looking to join an ambitious and progressive Club will be made most welcome at any of the above sessions. Come along and be part of what promises to be an exciting season ahead.

Pre-season friendlies have been arranged for the 1st XI as follows: Tuesday 16th July V Ballywalter Rec (a), Saturday 20th July V Abbey Villa (a), Thursday 25th July V Derriaghy CC (a) and Wednesday 31st July V Chimney Corner (a).

In addition to this Bryansburn will be holding their Annual Four Team Tournament and Barbeque on Saturday 27th July when Albert Foundry, Dundonald and Bangor Rangers will be competing along with the host Club.

Bryansburn are also pleased to announce the appointment of Rodney Ferris as Under 19 Manager for season 2013/14 and he too brings plenty of coaching and managerial experience with him and has exciting plans in place for the season ahead.
